Letters sent as B Mail bulk mailings are priced according to a basic fee determined by the format, thickness and weight, plus a weight surcharge.

Surcharges

  • Surcharge for special items (e.g. standard letters/postcard over 5 mm thick): CHF 0.15 per item (incl. VAT)
  • Surcharge for standard and midi letters over 20 mm and up to 50 mm thick: CHF 1.50 (incl. surcharge for special items, incl. VAT)
  • Large letters over 20 mm thick are classed as parcels.

Franking

  • Surcharges may not be franked with stamps.

Upstream discounts

  • Discounts are offered for upstream services such as pre-sorting items by locality or delivery district and mailing items at one of our letter or logistics centres (location discounts).

Discounts

  • Customized solutions are offered from an annual turnover of CHF 100,000, depending on individual contractual agreements.
