With "eShare", Swiss Post offers a car-sharing scheme that uses electric vehicles. Private customers can hire these vehicles in Ittigen (BE) and Basel. Businesses and administrative organizations benefit from attractive offers.

Demonstrate your environmental awareness and opt for an attractive solution – use "eShare", the first car-sharing scheme in Switzerland to use electric vehicles. No subscription charge and no membership required. The electric cars are powered exclusively with green electricity. They are silent and emission-free. Businesses and administrative organizations can also lease these electric vehicles on attractive terms and conditions.

Unique pilot project in Ittigen (BE) and Basel

Swiss Post has developed Switzerland's first car-sharing scheme that uses electric vehicles. As a member of the "inergie" association, we launched a joint pilot project in Ittigen (BE) together with BKW, other companies and the municipality of Ittigen. This was followed by the "E-Mobility Basel" project. Private customers can also hire environmentally friendly electric vehicles there. Project partners include Canton Basel-Stadt, the municipality of Riehen and Industrielle Werke Basel (Basel utilities company). The "eShare" projects are subject to scientific supervision to tailor the scheme even more closely to customer requirements.
