IT technician

IT technicians are experts in IT systems, programming and processes and are able to train other users and offer assistance. Our IT technician apprenticeship will open up opportunities in the fields of computer systems, applications and support. The main focus will be on installations, configurations, applications, designing databases and development.

Requirements:

• Secondary/college student/year 10 and above
• Good at maths
• Theoretical and technical mind
• Must enjoy working with others and computers
• Responsible, reliable, independent

4 years

Location:

Bellinzona, Berne, Zofingen

Training:

You will gain both a theoretical and practical insight into IT. On multiple-month placements at Swiss Post and at our partner companies, you will gain experience and be able to put your new-found knowledge to good use.

Vocational school:

You will attend vocational school 1½ -2 days per week. Once you have passed the entrance examination, you can complete your studies at the vocational secondary school.
