«Yellow moves»

The book entitled «Gelb bewegt – Die Schweizerische Post ab 1960» was published in autumn 2011 and is available in bookshops. The work, which was written by current and former employees of Swiss Post, is a light-hearted look back on the development of our company since 1960 through the eyes of the experts.

The book documents major milestones; the transformation from the former PTT to Swiss Post, how it has dealt with deregulation and gearing activities to competition. The various units of Swiss Post and the company's markets have undergone major changes over the past 50 years. «Gelb bewegt» («Yellow moves») also addresses changes within society that have affected Swiss Post as a company. These include the emancipation of women and Swiss Post's commitment to social responsibility. A look ro the future of Swiss Post reveals its increasing orientation towards new technologies.

The book on Swiss Post's more recent history is 270 pages in length and packed full of photographs that rekindle memories of the past. It also includes interviews with many of the people who experienced these developments at first hand. It was published by Stämpfli Verlag.
