Basic principles and laws

Swiss Post is a Federal institution. Its activities are regulated by the Postal Act and the Postal Ordinance. The services that Swiss Post must provide can be found in the universal service list. The document entitled "Swiss Post's basic service" contains all the main definitions relating to the basic service, postal network and monopoly.
