Subaddress

One address for many

The Swiss Post delivers letters for third parties (e.g. companies) to your address, even if your letterbox or P.O. box is not in the same name. To arrange for this to be done you need to place an order for a sub-address with us.

Placing a "subaddress" order guarantees that letters for various companies or persons will be delivered to your address – even if your letterbox or P.O. box is only in the name of one person or company.

If your post office is not in possession of an order for the "subaddress" service, items sent to sub-addresses will be treated as undeliverable.

Placing an order for sub-addresses

If you would like to take advantage of the "subaddress" service, you will need to complete a order form at your post office.

Alternative

Swiss Post can guarantee reliable deliveries to sub-addresses free of charge even if you have not placed any order for the "subaddress" service.

All you have to do is:

• indicate the subaddress on your letterbox and
• have your letters addressed accordingly
