Concentration of staff at one site
The two modern buildings in northern Bern – the stadium annex and the new office building – will allow PostFinance to bring together most of its 1,800 employees, who currently work at five different locations in Bern. The new head office is scheduled for occupation in 2013. This concentration of workplaces will enable PostFinance to move out of rented accommodation or sell its existing premises.

Everything carefully thought through
At the new building, which will sit happily in its setting, attention has been paid to a clear architectural arrangement of the main functions (offices, conference centre) and a clear allocation of uses (security zones). In addition, a modern office workplace concept will be introduced to guarantee comfort and flexibility for employees. The building will also provide adequate noise protection and energy-efficient thermal control, including thermo-active ceilings. The building will be constructed to the Swiss Minergie ECO standard.
