With the “Time slot delivery” service, your customers can choose for themselves when their consignments are delivered. There are eight time slots between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. to choose from.

Procedure

  • Posting

    You deposit the consignments at an acceptance point for business customers. List

  • Identification

    To identify the consignments, individual or combined formats can be used for the value-added service codes:

    • Time slot delivery
    • “PostPac Priority“ + “Time slot delivery”
    • “PostPac Priority“ + “Signature” + “Time slot delivery”

  • Delivery

    Consignments are delivered to the entrance door or another defined location (e.g. mailbox). If the customer is not at home and the consignment cannot be deposited in a mailbox, a collection note is sent.

    There is a margin of 5 minutes over or under the time for meeting the defined time slot.

  • Notification

    Swiss Post provides automatic notification of the delivery time slot and delivery of consignments to recipients who have activated the “My consignments” online service.

    As the sender, you can also send a notification about the consignment to the mobile phone number or e-mail address indicated by the recipient. The notification services (subject to a fee) in DataTransfer can be used for this purpose.
