Structure

The IT trainee programme lasts 18 months and comprises two placements of nine months each. We will assign you to your first placement based on your skills and interests. You will find your second placement yourself. Depending on the needs of Swiss Post’s business units abroad, a four- to six-month placement in an international environment can be completed between the first and second placements.

You embrace digitization and want to drive progress forward.

What you have to offer:

  • You’ll have graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (traditional university/university of applied sciences) within two years of the start of the programme.
  • You have already gained initial work experience in internships or part-time jobs.
  • You have a good command of German, French (B2) and English (B2).
  • Your thinking is joined up, you show initiative, you have diverse interests and you are a team player.

Your application process

  1. 1

Apply online for the traineeship via our vacancies page. No cover letter is required.

We will review your documents and inform you of the next steps or send you a rejection if we cannot consider your application.

  3. 3

During the selection procedure, we use various tools such as an online assessment and/or a time-delayed video interview. If you are given a positive rating, we will invite you to an event for applicants.
