Swiss Post is continually improving its existing services and developing new products and services for the customers of tomorrow. More and more of them are digital. They are available to private and business customers around the clock – including on mobile devices if required.

“Success through innovation” is one of Swiss Post’s strategic objectives. It is achievîng this goal because it is already developing the public service of the future today to take account of the changing needs of its customers. We want our customers to be able in future to choose when, where and how they want to use Swiss Post’s services.

In 2014, Swiss Post set up the “Development & Innovation” unit to promote an even more intense level of innovation. The unit is a hub for the development of business ideas and innovations, and implements them with the very latest management tools.

Its specialists help the Group units to identify new business ideas and develop innovations, and to expand them into new business areas. The unit also draws on the innovative capacity of 60,000 employees, connects units within Swiss Post and drives forward Group-wide projects. It does this with collaborative web platforms, and intends to intensify the use of social media software in the future.
