On 18 September 2014, Swiss Post will distribute four stamps to the value of one Swiss franc to Switzerland’s four million households, in the form of the online WebStamp. The stamp distribution is combined with a competition, offering prizes worth a total of 90,000 Swiss francs.

The campaign is part of a compromise which Swiss Post reached with the price regulator at the beginning of 2014. The agreement guarantees that the prices of A and B Mail, which have not changed since 2004, and domestic parcels will remain the same until March 2016. The compromise meant that a lengthy procedure could be avoided and ensured planning reliability for Swiss Post.
