Marco Imboden, Head of Communication at Swiss Post, has decided to leave the company. He will take up his new position as Head of Corporate Communications at CSS Insurance as of mid-November 2018. The search for his successor will begin.

Marco Imboden joined Swiss Post as Head of Communication at the PostMail business unit in October 2010. He was appointed Group Head of Communication in June 2012.

“Marco Imboden has played a large part in shaping and developing Group communication in recent years”, says Ulrich Hurni, Swiss Post’s CEO.  “On behalf of Executive Management, I would like to thank him for his huge and successful commitment and wish him all the best for the future in his professional and personal life”.

His role focused on positioning Swiss Post as a modern, innovative service provider and supporting the numerous change projects over recent years. Under Imboden’s leadership, a new organization to manage digital channels was established. Over the past year he was responsible for integrating the Communication teams and activities within the Group in a uniform management structure.

Matthias Dietrich will assume responsibility

The search for a successor will begin in the next few weeks. Matthias Dietrich, Head of Public Affairs and Deputy Head of Communication, will assume the role of leading Group Communication on an interim basis in the transitional period up until the position has been filled.
