Post CH Ltd and PostFinance Ltd CEC pay negotiations

Social partners reach agreement after three rounds of talks
The negotiation delegations of Post CH Ltd and PostFinance Ltd, the trade union syndicom and the staff association transfair have reached an agreement on pay negotiations for 2015. A general pay rise of 0.4 percent has been decided on. The employees will receive a one-off payment of CHF 400, while 0.8 percent of the total salary sum will be allocated to individual performance-related remuneration. The decision-making committees of the social partners still have to approve the outcome.

After three rounds of talks, the delegations have agreed the following:

  • Employees will receive a general pay rise of 0.4 percent.
  • All employees will receive a one-off payment of 400 francs pro rata based on their level of employment, but a minimum of 50 francs, given the positive annual results expected for 2014.
  • Due to this year’s good performance, 0.8 percent of the total salary sum will be allocated to individual performance-related remuneration.

These measures affect the 35,000 employees of Post CH Ltd and PostFinance Ltd who are covered by one of the two collective employment contracts. The negotiations at PostBus Switzerland Ltd have also been concluded. The results will be communicated separately. The negotiations for employees of Post Real Estate Management and Services Ltd, SecurePost Ltd and Swiss Post Solutions Ltd / SwissSign AG have not been concluded as yet.

Decision-making committees’ approval outstanding

The decision-making committees at Swiss Post and the trade unions still have to approve the outcome of the negotiations. At Swiss Post, these are the Board of Directors of Swiss Post Ltd and the Board of Directors of PostFinance Ltd, at syndicom the company delegate assemblies of Post CH Ltd and PostFinance Ltd, and at transfair the industry committee.
