Swiss Post’s General Meeting elected Nadja Lang to the Board of Directors in April 2014. Since then, the Zurich-born economist has achieved a great deal on the Board of Directors. She was particularly dedicated to HR issues – and ultimately, to the future of Swiss Post. Since 2019, she has chaired the Board of Directors’ “People, Sustainability, Governance” Committee, which has also been responsible for sustainability issues since the end of 2022. The committee is also responsible for Swiss Post’s strategic HR issues, such as the appointment of members of Executive Management and the Board of Directors, salary negotiation mandates and strategic organizational decisions.

After almost nine years, Nadja Lang has now decided to leave Swiss Post’s Board of Directors at the General Meeting on 2 May 2023.

Reflecting on the past nine years, Nadja Lang says: “Swiss Post and its senior management bodies are well positioned for the future. I’m particularly delighted that sustainability is an even more integral part of the strategy and is now also represented by a Board of Directors’ Committee.”

Chairman of the Board of Directors Christian Levrat regrets Nadja Lang’s decision: “With Nadja Lang’s departure, we are losing a highly committed and professional member of the Board of Directors. Her mindset of constructive criticism and consistently solution-oriented input were of tremendous value to Swiss Post’s Board of Directors.” He adds: “On behalf of the entire Board of Directors, I would like to express my gratitude to Nadja Lang for her many years of commitment to Swiss Post and its employees. I wish her every success on her future path outside the yellow world.”

The search for a successor is already under way.
