No matter if you’re in a cafe or lounging on the sofa, if it’s six in the morning or the middle of the night: with the new DigitalStamp service you can frank letters and parcels anytime, anywhere – directly in the Post-App. The stress of not having enough stamps or painstakingly filling out parcel labels can be consigned to the history books.

How does DigitalStamp work?

Using DigitalStamp couldn’t be easier: install Post-App, use your existing Swiss Post login or take a minute to register and you are ready to go. Then select whether you want to send a letter or a parcel and follow the instructions on the Post-App. You can also pay right in the app – by credit card, PostFinance Card, eFinance or TWINT.

  • Franking letters: You will receive a letter code which you write by hand on the top right corner of the envelope. The letter can then be posted in any yellow letter box.
  • Franking parcels: You have a choice. You can either print the parcel label yourself and drop off the parcel at one of over 2,700 places of posting, or you can have the parcel label printed free of charge at selected Swiss Post branches.

Which letters and parcels can be franked with DigitalStamp?

The service applies to standard letters (up to 100 g) and large letters (up to 500 g). They can be sent by both A Mail and B Mail. DigitalStamp is also available for PRIORITY and ECONOMY parcels with a maximum weight of 30 kilogrammes.
