Carole Rentsch appointed new Head of Human Resources at Swiss Post and Member of Executive Management

Swiss Post’s Board of Directors has appointed Carole Rentsch as the new Head of Human Resources. An HR expert at Swiss Post, she is currently responsible for Human Resources within the Logistics Services business unit. In her new role, Carole Rentsch will become a Member of Executive Management. On 1 September 2025, she will succeed Valérie Schelker, who will join Migros Group.

Carole Rentsch will assume HR responsibility for around 45,000 Swiss Post employees and will take up a seat in Swiss Post Executive Management. Alex Glanzmann, interim CEO, congratulates her on being appointed: “With her broad experience and expertise, her understanding of the business and her strategic thinking, she is an asset to Swiss Post management. Head of HR with broad background

Carole Rentsch is currently Head of HR at the largest business unit, Logistics Services, with around 30,000 employees. She began her career at Swiss Post in 2012 in the PostLogistics unit. Since then, Carole Rentsch has held various leading positions. She has shaped the development of culture and employees in a forward-looking manner and played a significant role in implementing the Swiss Post of tomorrow strategy. The 41-year-old studied psychology and business administration at the University of Bern and obtained her doctorate in Management of Technology at the EPFL. She lives with her family in Bern.
