Swiss Post acts in an economically, ecologically and socially responsible manner.. By doing so, it increases the value of the company and contributes to sustainable development by means of forward-looking solutions.
Fact 2
Swiss Post’s climate target supports the United Nations’ climate target of 2°C. Swiss Post improved its CO2 efficiency by 30 percent by 2020 (base year 2010). Since 2021, all Swiss Post consignments have had their carbon emissions offset on their journey. In the long term, it intends to offer zero-emission services wherever possible. Swiss Post aims to achieve full carbon neutrality by 2040.

Swiss Post is a member of the international EV100 initiative. 6,200 vehicles are electrified or have alternative drive systems (primarily electric scooters but increasingly e-delivery vans, too). From 2030, our entire delivery fleet will be powered by alternative drive systems.

Fact 4
Swiss Post operates some of the largest photovoltaic systems in Switzerland, such as the system in the Zurich-Mülligen letter sorting center which has a panel surface of 8,000 m2. It produces a total of around 10 GWh per year with 22 systems. In addition, it covers its electricity requirements entirely with renewable energy from Switzerland.

Swiss Post is committed to socially acceptable working conditions: for the seventh time, the Fair Wear FoundationTarget not accessible has awarded Swiss Post the title of “Leader” for its procurement of 200,000 items of clothing. It is the leader in Switzerland when it comes to implementing high social standards for producers.
