What to expect at the letter centers
Our modern letter centers process several million letters per day. The main letter processing hubs are Eclépens, Härkingen, Zurich-Mülligen and Cadenazzo. During your tour, you can learn about state-of-the-art technology and the sophisticated letter processing processes at first hand.

Since 2008, the Cadenazzo letter center has been processing regionally addressed and unaddressed items. About 500,000 consignments and 80,000 daily newspapers are sorted every day.
Tour times
Monday to Friday, 3 p.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
If your desired time slot is already reserved, we will contact you to arrange an alternative date. Please be aware that the largest consignment volumes are processed in the evenings. There are no guided tours on public holidays.
Languages
Italian. French and German upon request.
Group size
The minimum number of visitors per group is 3 people. Groups larger than 15 people will be split up. The tour can be provided for a maximum of two groups at the same time.
Itinerary and duration
To get started, you will be given some general information about Swiss Post. Then you will set off on a guided tour of the letter center.
The duration is about one hour.

Monday to Friday, 8.45 a.m – 10.45 a.m., 11.45 a.m. – 12.45 p.m., 5.15 p.m. – 7.15 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. – 21.30 p.m.

Modern equipment and three-shift operation enable several million letter consignments heading into and out of Western Switzerland to be processed every day.

- If you arrive by train, the walk from Eclépens station to the letter center takes about 15 minutes.

- If you arrive by coach, you can park at the letter center premises. Please report at the barrier using the intercom. Our staff will be happy to assign you a place.
