Swiss Post reports to its owner

The owner receives an annual report from Swiss Post on strategic objectives and the Ordinance on Executive Pay. The Federal Council keeps the public informed about the results of the checking of goals. Swiss Post also submits its Annual Report to the owner for approval.

Ongoing discussions on key areas of business are held during regular meetings between Confederation representatives and Swiss Post bodies.

Within the Federal Administration, the Secretariat General for the Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communication (DETEC), in conjunction with the Federal Finance Administration (FFA), assumes the role of owner and the associated tasks.
