Industry, innovation and infrastructure

Swiss Post has an impact on the targets 9.1, 9.4 and 9.5 as it:

• maintains a high-quality, reliable, sustainable and resilient infrastructure and a comprehensive public service,
• enables affordable and equal access for the public to this infrastructure in all regions: thanks to a PostBus network with over 900 routes, daily customer contact, numerous access points and payment transaction services,
• uses resources efficiently, focuses on modern  and environmentally acceptable technology: such as with three new regional parcel centers, the electrification of the delivery fleet by 2030 and the accelerated switching of heating systems to renewable alternatives,
• works together with the academic sector, uses modern innovation management techniques and expands its technological capacity.
