From Switzerland to Ukraine – windows with a new perspective
In Switzerland, over 20 million square metres of windows are disposed of every year, even though a great deal are still in good condition. What happens to windows that are no longer needed in Switzerland? The Re-Win association provides a sustainable answer to this question, and Post Construction Logistics supports their efforts by enabling windows to be used for reconstruction in Ukraine.

Switzerland is renovating, Ukraine is rebuilding – and this is where Re-Win steps in. The association gathers windows that were removed during the demolition of buildings in Switzerland, prepares them and transports them to Ukraine. They are then used to make destroyed buildings habitable again.
“We didn’t hesitate when we were asked to help”, says Jürg Braunwalder, Managing Director of Post Construction Logistics Ltd. “Re-Win’s initiative unites sustainability with a specific social benefit. We’re delighted that we can use our logistics expertise and infrastructure to help make this project a success”, he says.
“For us, it was clear: we don’t just help with transport, but also with our know-how”, continues Braunwalder. “Sustainability is a crucial part of our corporate philosophy. We’re very happy to be able to make a difference both ecologically and in humanitarian terms.” An initiative opening not just doors, but mainly new perspectives.
