From 8 to 12 April 2019, another Projectathon dedicated to the electronic patient record (EPR) was held in Rennes (F). It demonstrated that Swiss Post is “EPR-ready”. The IHE profiles, national modifications and Swiss-specific interface extensions were all tested. Out of more than a hundred tests carried out on the platform, only four were “partially verified”. This means that Swiss Post has now successfully tested virtually all the key transactions for the EPR several times.

Swiss Post also participated actively in the discussions held in Rennes regarding the implementation of the EPR. The topics addressed included unresolved questions about the technical implementation and quality assurance of the reference environment, as well as details relating to ordinances.
