Easy access is a key factor for the success of the electronic patient record (EPR). The digital self-onboarding service for the EPR, developed by Swiss Post, provides concrete benefits for users. Interested parties save themselves the effort of going to an opening point, are able to identify themselves paperlessly online using SwissID and can open an EPR. The new self-onboarding service from Post Sanela Health AG is available now and can be used free of charge by the resident populations in the cantons of Basel-Stadt, Bern, Schaffhausen, Solothurn, Zug and Zurich.
