Trust in every action: Klinik Hirslanden in Zurich expands collaboration

The Hirslanden Group has relied on Swiss Post’s health logistics for over a decade, whether for the supply of medical consumables, delivery to hospitals or the secure transport of sensitive goods. As of 1 August 2025, Klinik Hirslanden in Zurich and Steriplus AG, a subsidiary of Swiss Post, will strengthen this long-term collaboration: as part of an extended partnership, Steriplus will gradually take over sterile preparation of surgical instruments for the clinic. “This cooperation demonstrates the commitment of both partners to providing the highest quality and efficiency in healthcare provision”, says Daniel Vögeli, Head of Industry Solutions and Chief Commercial Officer at Swiss Post – and also shows the joint focus on patient safety, process clarity and future sustainability.
Stability during transition
A structured transition period will ensure that Klinik Hirslanden’s preparation processes are handed over to Steriplus without issue – closely coordinated with the existing sterilization team on site to guarantee patient safety at all times and allow the clinic to function without disruption. Within a few months, Steriplus will take full responsibility for sterile preparation of all surgical instruments.

In the certified preparation facility in Kaltbrunn (SG), Steriplus uses the latest technology, standardized processes and an experienced team of experts. The aim is to prepare surgical instruments for Klinik Hirslanden in Zurich to the highest hygiene standards and functional requirements – punctually, safely and sustainably.
