Error-free preliminary sorting and prompt posting: these are the most important preconditions for smooth shipment of your newspapers – and on-time delivery to recipients.

When posting newspapers, preparation must comply with Swiss Post’s requirements. For large print runs, high distribution densities and the shipping of all daily newspapers, preliminary sorting and bundling with corresponding shipping preparation of consignments are necessary. The articles are delivered in bags, stacks, bulk containers or on pallets.

Sorting
Preliminary sorting according to the delivery district and in sequence

If five or more copies are to be delivered per delivery district in several locations in the main distribution area, addressed newspapers must be posted according to the delivery district and in sequence.

Publications with low distribution density do not need to be pre-sorted according to the delivery district. Please use relevant functions in the “Dispatch list for newspapers” online service when preparing to send these types of printed matter.
