Manual processing

Would you like your consignments to be processed manually to ensure they are sorted by hand on the outbound journey? No problem! Your letters are guaranteed to arrive at their destination intact.

  • Available for A Mail, B Mail individual items, B Mail bulk mailings and OnTime Mail.
  • All consignments must be handed over unsorted.
  • The surcharge is CHF 0.25 for all consignments.
  • Send us a final proof before going ahead with the mailing.
  • Posting must always be recorded with a delivery note/dispatch list for letter mail in the “Letters dispatch list” online service.

Final proof
Have your templates checked for free – and play it safe

The free “final proof” service from Swiss Post guarantees that letters, mailings and flyers can be processed without any unpleasant surprises – making every dispatch a complete success.

  • For written requests, the “final proof” will be issued within two to three days of receipt of the template.
  • Requests made using the contact form will be answered within 24 hours (working days).

A better life cycle assessment than paper packaging

Using classic plastic packaging to package goods is currently a hotly debated practice. We are seeing more and more market and public demand for environmentally friendly alternatives, or indeed for deliveries that don’t use any packaging at all. At the same time, recipients expect their parcels to be delivered in mint condition whatever the weather. This is a challenge to all senders.
