The current was introduced across the canton in mid-2013 and is provided to all patients free of charge. It is based on the first eHealth Suisse-compliant pilot project “e-toile”. The canton of Geneva developed “e-toile” together with Swiss Post and, in 2011, it was launched in several of the canton’s municipalities.
