Bulk mailings that need to be sorted manually are liable to be treated as special items and incur a surcharge.
1↑The surcharge for unsorted special items (e.g. with printing in the coding or franking area) is CHF 0.25 per consignment.
A format surcharge of CHF 2.00 per consignment is billed (including surcharge for special items) for standard and midi letters between 20 mm and 50 mm thick. Thicker consignments and large letters thicker than 20 mm are considered as parcels.
