OnTime Mail is a reliable mailing solution for specific-day delivery of 10,000 or more bulk-posted items. With OnTime Mail, you can choose from two service levels: delivery on a specific working day (Monday to Friday) or delivery on Saturday to receive greater attention.
With OnTime Mail you choose the delivery date for your large mailing from 10,000 items. Unlike with B Mail bulk mailing, your mailing reaches your target group precisely on the day you want. The product has two service levels:
Specific-day delivery from Monday to Friday
OnTime Mail is ideal for limited period sales campaigns, multi-stage mailings and integrated communication measures (such as coordination with TV spots, adverts and merchandising campaigns).
The benefits to you of OnTime Mail:
Delivery of mailings and letters on the same day to all recipients throughout Switzerland
Ideal mailing solution for short-term or multi-stage campaigns
Precise coordination of dates with accompanying measures
Planning reliability for downstream processes (fulfilment, call center work)
1↑ Please ensure that you contact your customer advisor in advance for consignments that are important from a strategic or a business policy perspective.
The minimum quantity required to use OnTime Mail is 10,000 items per format, sender and service.
Posting and processing
OnTime Mail consignments can be posted as sorted or unsorted mail at selected acceptance points. Detailed information can be found in the “Sending mail” menu and in the “OnTime Mail” factsheet.
Consignments for the Principality of Liechtenstein
Liechtensteinische Post delivers B Mail consignments, and therefore also OnTime Mail consignments, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays only. If you want a specific-day delivery on a Wednesday or Friday, we recommend the following:
Send consignments for Switzerland as OnTime Mail as usual
Send consignments for the Principality of Liechtenstein on the previous day (Tuesday or Thursday) as A Mail
This will ensure that your consignments will reach all households in Switzerland and in the Principality of Liechtenstein on the same day.
Swiss Post assumes no liability. The General Terms and Conditions of Swiss Post apply.
Track & Trace
Electronic tracking of consignments and their processing status is available with OnTime Mail only for full pallets. Detailed information can be found in the factsheet on Track & Trace for pallets.
Settlement of accounts
We invoice the services through franking licences set up especially for you. You receive a monthly invoice with a detailed list of all transactions.
OnTime Mail consignments must be delivered to one of the designated acceptance points four working days before the chosen delivery date and by 5 p.m. at the latest.
The following points are particularly important when mailing with OnTime Mail:
The delivery format determines whether a refund or exemption from the special item surcharge can be granted. You can find an overview of possible delivery methods and potential savings in the “OnTime Mail” factsheet.
Separate mail sent to domicile addresses from mail sent to P.O. Box addresses and label them separately.
OnTime Mail consignments must be labelled with green bulk and container labels, specifying the delivery date.
As is the case with all PP consignments, sorting center and postcode area bundles are not permitted and cannot be processed as OnTime Mail.
