You can use the platform of the “E-Post Office” online service to select the participating senders from whom you would like to receive your mail digitally in future.
As a private user, you have access to the following functions with the “E-Post Office” online service:

- Managing notifications
- E-mail function
- Archive (5 GB storage free of charge)
- Pay invoices
- Take photos of or scan documents (via the E-Post Office App)

Who is this service for?
The “E-Post Office” online service is ideal for private individuals with a valid home address in Switzerland who want to receive their mail digitally.
The “E-Post Office” online service is free of charge. Receiving letters in physical format or electronically is also free of charge. However, answering and forwarding letters is subject to a fee.
With E-Post Office, the recipients determine whether mail is delivered as a physical letter or in digital form. The cost for the sender varies depending on how recipients have chosen to receive their mail. If the recipient has chosen to receive mail via E-Post Office (digital), sending the mail costs CHF 0.50 per consignment. If the recipient has chosen to receive mail as a letter (physical), sending the mail costs CHF 2.50 per consignment.
To use the “E-Post Office” online service, you must have a domicile address in Switzerland and you must log in and register for the online service.
Already registered as a Swiss Post customer? With your login data, you can start using the “E-Post Office” online service immediately.
Not registered as a Swiss Post customer? Create a login. After checking your identity, we will send you an activation code by mail within two to three working days.
