Shipping documents for international parcels

The current “Shipping documents for GLS parcels” online service will be deactivated on 2 November 2025. The new “Send GLS parcel” service will be available to you as an online service in the “My Post” customer cockpit from 3 November 2025. New input aids and functions will help users avoid errors. All consignments must be entered entirely digitally; the previous quick entry method is no longer required as it does not provide all the required data. Digital full recording reduces delays for your consignments and improves delivery quality. From 2026, additional services such as the FlexDelivery Service will be available online for the first time.

Existing customers of the current “Shipping documents for GLS parcels” online service will be migrated automatically to the new “Send GLS parcel” service. The saved address data and user permissions will already have been transferred into the first version of the new online service – provided you have already used the previous service.

New customers must register in writing with GLS Customer Service (infogls@post.ch) and enter the business SwissID e-mail. A valid SwissID account is a prerequisite for using the online service. To do so, go to Create a SwissID account — SwissIDTarget not accessible and register for SwissID. A billing relationship with Swiss Post must also exist to enable the use of “Send GLS parcel”. Yes, all materials can still be ordered from the DocuCenter. As a user of “Send GLS parcel”, you no longer need forwarding envelopes. You can store your shipping label and any other documents, such as handwritten signed commercial invoices, in the document pouch.

Your existing item master data will not yet be available in the first version of the online service. It will also not be possible to save new articles. These functions will become available to you within the next few weeks.

• It will be possible in the coming weeks to automatically assign your own commercial invoice to a GLS consignment. Until then, enter the system-generated GLS parcel number digitally or by hand on your own commercial invoice, as you did before.
• Multiple parcel shipments, i.e. the entry of several parcels per consignment, are planned for the first quarter of 2026. Until the introduction of multi-order, each parcel consignment must be entered individually. Any additional costs incurred for customs clearance in the recipient country will be credited in full on request.
• Multi-upload, i.e. bulk processing of consignment data, is also planned for the first quarter of 2026.
• Comprehensive functions for article master data are planned for the second quarter of 2026. A simplified version could be available earlier.
• The mailing overview of entered consignments is not visible (history). The introduction of these functions is planned for the first quarter of 2026.
• The FlexDeliveryService value-added service is planned for 2026.
