- Deposit number plate: deposit your number plate if using it seasonally or during extended periods of absence – and save on taxes by doing so
- Re-register: collect the number plate after depositing it and register the vehicle
- Cancel vehicle registration document: when selling or taking the vehicle out of use
- Switch vehicle: deregister an old vehicle and register a new one
- Swap number plate: use two vehicles alternately with the same number plate
