The Swiss Shooting Sport Federation (SSV) is the national umbrella organization for shooting. With almost 130,000 members, it is Switzerland’s fifth largest sporting federation and celebrates its 200th anniversary this year. The stamp marking this anniversary reproduces the classic A target and is printed with a beautiful metallic gold colour.

Stamp on a special card with original bullet holes created by Olympic champion
The Swiss Shooting Sport Federation stamp is based on the traditional A-type target. At the firing range, Olympic champion Nina Christen used the stamp as a target, shooting through 200 copies. The stamps were each affixed to a numbered special card signed by Nina Christen herself. The cards are available to order from 9 a.m. on 2 May 2024 at postshop.ch/ssv-fst or from your Swiss Post branch. Sales price of CHF 49.00.
