Stamp Day 2024 Zurzach

To mark this year’s Stamp Day, the ZUBRA 2024 stamp exhibition will be held from 21 to 23 November 2024. The miniature sheet dedicated to the event depicts the Rhine landscape in the Zurzach region (Canton of Aargau).

The best way to depict the entire Rhine landscape in the Zurzach region (AG) is, of course, from a bird’s eye view. The Rhine is the unifying element of all the eight districts that merged to form the municipality of Zurzach in 2022. Together with the waves (based on the municipal coat of arms), these are the three central elements of the miniature sheet, which was issued this year to mark Stamp Day. The event organized by the local philatelic association is called ZUBRA 2024 and offers the following: an exhibition, a stamp exchange, a sales stand with cancellation service and an autograph session with the designer of the miniature sheet.

Swiss Post will run a sales stand with a cancellation service. The special cancellation depicted here will be used. Individual documents can also be sent to the following address by 21 November:

Autograph session

Manuela Pfrunder, designer of the miniature sheet, will be signing her works on Saturday, 23 November 2024 from 10 a.m to 11.30 a.m.
