Rich Content Section
Reading, drawing and puzzle-solving: despite its age, the cult magazine JUNIOR remains young at heart. It has been part of the lives of children, young people and families since November 1951. Today, the monthly publication with the cute animal images on the cover has a circulation of 170,000 copies in Switzerland. It is available free of charge in shops and pharmacies and has been one of the little highlights of shopping for many generations. Readers dive into the comics as soon as they get their hands on the magazine, and savour the delicious recipe suggestions just as eagerly later on. They make handicrafts, discover fascinating information and wait hopefully to see if they have won the latest competition. Not much has changed over the years. The anniversary stamp features Junior’s dog Klexx as the bearer of warm wishes for this special birthday.
