What happens when a band designs a stamp? Swiss Post aims to use this core idea to showcase the rich diversity of Switzerland’s arts scene and give Swiss public figures, here from the world of music, the opportunity to create culture in the form of a stamp. “Coming up with the right design and a matching postmark for the stamp was a bit like writing a song. We asked ourselves what felt right for us and how to bring it to life in an appealing and humorous way”, say the band members about how the stamp was created. The design bears the DNA of Stubete Gäng, who unite city and countryside, young and old, with their “Örbn Ländlr” style. Their music is a mix of traditional and modern, peppered with a dash of humour.
