The year book tells exciting stories on every topic in the 2026 editions.
Major events, anniversaries, sporting fixtures and inspiring moments in art and culture – the year book is a compact snapshot of all the stamp themes from 2026. A colourful look back over the year with all the original stamps and fascinating background stories. And there is another unique feature about the year book: each year, different artists are invited to design the images. This time, it was the turn of Zurich-based graphic artist and illustrator Elena Knecht. Her illustrations are full of bold colours, striking shapes and a subtle, understated sense of humour. For the sequence of pictures in this book, Knecht analysed all the stamps from 2026 closely and created her own visual interpretation. Her illustrations can be seen as an enhancing commentary that focuses the eye, offers insight and encourages readers to explore new perspectives.
