Customer portal “My Post”
“My Post” is the customer portal at swisspost.ch. Once they have logged in with Swiss ID, customers can access their personal customer portal directly. This is where you can view and directly use Swiss Post’s most frequently used online services. Additionally, you can see all your current and past postal transactions at a glance.
On the Swiss Post portal (swisspost.ch) you can register for login details and therefore for “My Post”. This requires a login from SwissID. It takes about 5 minutes to register on “My Post”. Depending on the service you want to use, verifications (e.g. of the address) are required.
After you have successfully registered, you are required to enter your address. We will check this and send you a verification by letter. This is how we ensure that the confidential data really belongs to you.
Enter address
- Log in via your user account in the top right-hand corner.
- If you are logged in to “My Post”, click on “Manage address” under “My profile”.
- Enter your address.
After we have checked your details, you will receive a confirmation letter. You can activate your new address in the “My Post” customer portal.
Activate address
- Log in via your user account in the top right-hand corner.
- Select “Confirm address”.
- Enter the seven-digit confirmation code. You will find this in the confirmation letter. The code is valid for 90 days.
Please note: only addresses in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein will be confirmed.
Confirmation code lost or expired
- Log in via your user account in the top right-hand corner.
- Under “Confirm address”, you can order a new confirmation letter via “Resend confirmation codeTarget not accessible”.
Please note: you cannot request a new confirmation code unless you have already received a confirmation code.
First check your spam folder. It is possible that the activation e-mail has inadvertently ended up in your spam folder. If you can’t find the activation e-mail in your spam folder, try the following steps:
- Check your e-mail address. Make sure you entered the correct e-mail address when you registered for an account.
- Delete the cache and cookies in your browser. This may cause the activation e-mail to be resent.
- Try logging in with a different browser.
If you have completed all these steps and still haven’t received an activation e-mail, you can contact the SwissSign Customer Service.
- Easier navigation: The most frequently used online services, which were previously in different locations in the Swiss Post portal, are now bundled together for access in “My Post”. The “Send”, “Address and receive” and “Shop” tiles allow direct access to online services that are relevant to you personally.
- Go directly to the home service: If customers live in a home service area, they will receive direct access to home service offers in their personal customer portal. Simply click on the “Home service” tile.
- Current postal transactions at a glance: Users can see information on incoming consignments, Postshop orders and change of address notifications etc. at a glance. The activities are organized via tabs into “Current” and “Completed”. Clicking on an individual tile of an activity opens the detailed view. You can carry out the recommended next action with a click of the mouse.
- Tell us in the chat: Customers can start a chat using the green chat icon in the bottom right of the customer portal, either with the chatbot or in the form of a live chat with someone from the Swiss Post Contact Center.
- The initials at the top right of the homepage take users to their profile, personal settings and the logout.
- Track consignment numbers: Direct access to the consignment search under the “Consignments” tile.
- Easier administration: The most important information on administering the account is bundled together for you.
- Improved favourites: Favourite services are now bundled by theme. Favourites from a particular theme cluster, e.g. “Send and transport”, are located in the same place.
- All online services: It is now easier to discover new services and online services because themes can now be sorted into theme areas, and they are now described according to needs.
- Current postal transactions at a glance: Information on pending transactions or requests for action are displayed directly in the “My Post” customer portal in a role-based manner. In the overview of all activities, this information can also be filtered by date.
- Discover new things: Use our recommendations to discover new products or blog posts from the world of Swiss Post.
You can find your profile and all personal profile settings via the initials at the top right.
There is a magnifying glass icon in the header at the top right. You can use this to open the search. Enter the desired search term and select the appropriate result from the list.
Login and SwissID
SwissID is the secure Swiss login solution, providing access to over 200 online applications. At Swiss Post, we use SwissID as the login for our “My Post” customer portal. With this login, you can access all Swiss Post’s online services simply, securely and quickly.
SwissID is a secure solution that facilitates your everyday digital life:
- it gives you access to all of your online services on swisspost.ch.
- You can use the same access for over 200 additional online applications from Swiss companies and public authorities. For example, you can register your move online, apply for insurance or submit applications outside of counter opening hours. Access to the electronic patient record is also very easy via the SwissID login.
- Your data is stored in encrypted form.
- SwissID login fulfils the security requirements of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the Swiss Federal Act on Electronic Signatures (ESigA).
- SwissID also meets the standards of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
