  • when the nearest branch is open
  • which nearby branch stays open the longest
  • where the nearest yellow letter box is
  • where the nearest My Post 24 terminal is

  • notarized authorization (valid after death)
  • family record book

To ensure we are in possession of your latest name and address data, please use our online service “Report name correction” when changing name. Alternatively, you can also register the change of name in a branch.

How do I register my new address?

To register a new address, log in to swisspost.ch and click on “Manage address” in the Customer Center.

As soon as your submission has been processed, it will be checked for correctness and completeness. You will be able to activate your new address in the Customer Center once you have received your confirmation letter.

If you have registered a new address in the Customer Center or modified an existing address, this information will be checked for completeness and correctness. Once you have received the confirmation letter, you will be able to activate your new address. To do so, log in to swisspost.ch and click on “Confirm address”. Then type in the seven-digit confirmation code from the letter in the relevant field. Your confirmation code will remain valid for 90 days.

Please note: address verification is available only for addresses in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.

I have lost my confirmation code. My confirmation code has expired. What can I do?

Log in to swisspost.ch. You can request a new confirmation letter by clicking on “Resend confirmation code” under “Confirm address”.

Please note: you will not be able to request a new confirmation code until the previous confirmation code has been delivered.
