Become a leader at Swiss Post
We’re looking for people who question things, contribute ideas and take a position. What you have to offer:
You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in business administration or economics, communication or psychology. You graduated no more than one and a half years before the start of the programme.
You are not older than 31 at the start of the programme.
You have already gained initial work experience in internships or part-time jobs.
You have a good command of German, French and English.
Your thinking is joined up, you show initiative and you are a versatile and interested team player.
The trainee programme lasts 18 months and comprises two placements of nine months each. We will assign you to your first placement based on your skills and interests. You will find your second placement yourself. Depending on the needs of Swiss Post’s business units outside Switzerland, you may also complete a three to six-month placement abroad.

Individual advanced training and networking
At the same time as completing your placements, you will benefit from individual advanced training, customer-facing placements and opportunities for networking. Each trainee has a training budget of 4,000 francs at their disposal.
Start and place of work
The trainee programme starts twice a year, in May and in November. The trainee workplaces are located mainly in Berne.
The positions available in the trainee programme are advertised online in March and October. You can apply online. Make sure you meet the deadline for applications and specify your preferred placements. We will then need a little time to review your documents.
What happens next?
In the course of the application process, we use various tools.
To begin with, we use is a video interview, which you can record at any time and irrespective of your location.
Online assessment tools
We use assessment tools such as numerical and verbal tests. You decide when and where you complete the assessments.
The trainee programme managers will conduct a structured interview with you. You will work on a case study or engage in a role playing exercise. After the first interview you will receive feedback.
Your second interview is with a manager from the unit at which your placement is planned. You may be asked to work on additional exercises.
After the second interview, you will again receive feedback and we will inform you of our decision on your appointment.
