As a Solution Architect, you effortlessly navigate between different levels of abstraction and understand how to communicate complex interrelations at differing levels of detail. For example, after highlighting a memory leak during a code review, you consider the functional decomposition of a new software system. A call interrupts your train of thought; a product manager wants you to help an agile team design a forward-looking API. Then, you move on to coordinating a technology decision with enterprise architecture.

Your expertise is important to help us successfully meet the challenges of digitization and respond in a forward-looking way. While coordinating project goals, you make sure the focus remains on the software and place importance on its stability and high quality. As a key figure in our agile teams, you also play a significant role in implementing major projects and make an important contribution to shaping Swiss Post’s digital future.

As a DevOps Engineer SAP, you are involved in one or more migration projects to SAP S/4 HANA. You collaborate with your team and discuss challenges in the daily-sync and provide support to your colleagues. You work on user stories from the backlog in two-week sprints. Together with our process managers and technical specialists, you analyse problems and develop the technical specifications for customizing the relevant SAP module. You work with the Solution Manager for the SAP solution documentation.

We work in an agile manner according to SAFe: every 10 weeks we meet with all 160 staff for joint on-site PI planning and to plan the next five sprints. As a key figure in our agile teams, you play a significant role in implementing major projects and make an important contribution to shaping Swiss Post’s digital future.
