Whether you’re sending letters, handing over parcels or making payments: in regions with home service, your mail carrier will provide a handy, convenient service to your front door.
Who benefits from the home service?
The home service is available to customers without any access to a Swiss Post branch or a branch with partner in their area. If you live in a defined home service area, you are automatically entitled to use the service and are informed by Swiss Post.

Even if you do not live in an area with home service, you can carry out postal transactions easily and conveniently from home using the mailing and collection service pick@home. Order stamps with ease at the click of the mouse by going to postshop.ch.
What can I get done from home?
Sending letters and parcels
Keep franked consignments ready to hand over in person, or place them in the storage compartment of your private letter box. If the consignments are not franked, please enclose the cash.
Order stamps
Have cash to cover stamp costs ready to hand over in person, or place it in the storage compartment of your private letter box.
Withdraw cash
Fill in the outpayment slip (AS) or the home service cheque, have it ready to hand over in person, or place it in the storage compartment of your private letter box.
Pay invoices
Have inpayment slips (domestic payment up to 10,000 francs) ready and add up amounts. Place the inpayment slips and cash or the home service check in the storage compartment of your private letter box, or alternatively have it ready to hand over in person.
How does the home service work?

Order your preferred service via the Post-App, online or using the order pen to your home. If you order the service before 7.30 a.m., your mail carrier will visit you on the same day (Monday to Friday).

The mail carrier takes your consignments or any cash directly from your front door or from your private letter box.

You receive proof of mailing for pre-franked consignments in “My consignments” or by e-mail. You receive change and the ordered goods no later than on the next delivery round (Monday to Friday).
