PP franking can be augmented with PP easy. PP Easy is a data matrix code with static data content (customer identification, availability of returns). It contains no customer-generated data and has no freely usable positions.
For PP franking with Letter ID (formerly PP Business), a data matrix code with dynamic data content is used. It includes customer-generated data (order number, consignment number) and allows the use of a number of positions for the customer’s own purposes. It can also be used to store the availability of returns.
It takes two working days to produce, with mailing on the third day at the earliest. In order to calculate when the card will be delivered, you need to add the number of days for the type of service you selected.
You also have the option of sending the card on the same day for a 30 percent surcharge on the cost of production. The conditions are:
- Order placed by 2 p.m. at the latest
- Maximum amount of 200 copies
- Formats A6, A5, A6/5 and B5
- Type of dispatch: A Mail/PRIORITY
You can edit your contract until the moment you have issued it. You wait to issue the order, until the order no longer needs to be changed. If you want to make changes to an order that is already issued or even want to cancel it, please contact your Swiss Post customer advisor (see contact).
Orders must be made by 11 p.m. at the latest to guarantee execution of the order the following day. Please note that orders not placed at least four working days (Monday to Saturday) before the initial day of retention are deemed to be express orders that are subject to a surcharge.
If you do not yet have a login for swisspost.ch with letter verification, please note that orders require at least four days’ prior notice.
The “Change of address with forwarding” order is valid for a period of one year. After this period has expired, consignments sent to the old address will be returned to the sender with a corresponding remark. Mail items with your old address are first sent to the corresponding branch postdelivery office. Based on your order, they will then be forwarded to the new address. Swiss Post requires one working day for forwarding this mail.
PromoPost consignments, free newspapers and consignments with a poste restante or military address as their destination are generally excluded from forwarding. Debt collection documents are only forwarded within the debt collection district. Court documents, parcels and military consignments are not forwarded abroad.
