You give your consent to Post CH Ltd. Swiss Post analyzes your customer data and uses it to send you suitable personalized offers from third-party providers, both physically and digitally.
You can revoke your consent for future data processing in the settings in the “My Post” customer portal. Please get in touch with our Contact Center if you need any assistance doing this. Upon revocation, Swiss Post will only process your data to the extent that is permitted without consent.
Your data is used to create personalized offers from third-party providers that are tailored precisely to your needs and provided even if you have affixed a “no advertising” sticker. You benefit from relevant information such as:
- physical offers (e.g. letters, flyers, free product samples)
- digital offers (e.g. e-mails, Swiss Post portal, Post-App, external advertising banners)
Data analysis helps Swiss Post to develop specific and individually tailored offers.
Swiss Post collects and processes data from the following sources:
- Products and services: data from the purchase and use of Swiss Post products and services (e.g. visits to pages, products selected and order history).
- Interactions: data collected in interactions with Swiss Post (e.g. at Swiss Post branches, via chat functions).
The following data may be used:
- Master data: title, name, address, telephone number, e-mail, age
- Behavioural data: use of services, pages visited, products selected, order history
- Geographical data: e.g. location via IP address
- Interests: topics and interests stored in your profile
Note: separate consent may be required for the use of certain data (e.g. cookies).
Protection of your data takes top priority. Swiss Post is:
- ISO27001-certified
- holder of the SWISS INSIGHTS Data Fairness label, which stands for transparent and responsible data processing
