Swiss Post Ltd comprises
All subsidiaries of Swiss Post Ltd based in Switzerland and the European Economic Area.
Partners are
- Companies to which Swiss Post has granted access to its branches as part of a public tender procedure (opening of the branch network)
- Partner cooperations and offers marketed with the Swiss Post brand identity (“yellow identity”, Swiss Post logo, etc.)
- Selected subsidiaries from the fields of digital services, healthcare, etc.
You can revoke your consent for future data processing in the settings in the “My Post” customer portal. Please get in touch with our Contact Center if you require any assistance with this.
We use your data to provide you with the smoothest and most personal customer experience possible. This enables us to improve our services and products in a targeted manner and to contact you for surveys.
Swiss Post collects and processes data from the following sources:
- Products and services: data from the purchase and use of products and services provided by Swiss Post and its Partners.
- Interactions: data collected in interactions with Swiss Post and its Partners (e.g. at Swiss Post branches, via chat functions).
Data that originates from interactions, products and services of PostFinance and PostBus are not processed. Furthermore, no sensitive personal data (e.g. health, religion) is processed.

(e.g. age, gender, marital status, housing situation, profession and pension plan, education, network of relationships, financial situation)
Data on interests, activities and preferences
(e.g. hobbies, leisure activities and purchasing habits)

(e.g. language selection, postal addresses, e-mail and other electronic addresses and telephone numbers)
Data from personal and non-personal interactions with Swiss Post and its Partners
(e.g. contact history, messages and reactions, referrals to third parties, needs and preferences, responses to surveys, website and app use, device use and authentication level)
Data from the purchase and use of products and services provided by Swiss Post and its Partners
(e.g. orders including shopping baskets, orders, preferences and contractual arrangements (such as Saturday delivery), past consignments)
When we process your data, we comply with all legislation applicable in the context, in particular data protection law and the Postal Services Act (in German) and Swiss Post’s guiding principles of digital ethics.
