Temporary forwarding – private
Forwarding of mail to your temporary address
By arranging to have your mail forwarded, you can receive it at a temporary address during your absence. To have Swiss Post forward your mail during your holiday, all you need is a temporary forwarding order.
During periods of absence, Swiss Post automatically forwards letters and parcels addressed to you to the temporary address until a predetermined date or cancellation of the order, ensuring that you receive your important documents and parcels at your temporary address.

Despite the order, I had letters delivered. Why weren’t all letters retained?Open collapsible container Close collapsible container
It is our aim to ensure the service runs smoothly. However, mistakes are sometimes made. Contact us with your complaint so that we can take action to prevent this from happening in the future. However, please note that private delivery businesses also deliver consignments in larger cities and conurbations. It thus may be the case that, despite your forwarding order, mail ends up in your letter box.
