Swiss Post will support you even better in future by simplifying administration tasks.

We have acquired a majority stake in Klara Business Ltd, the Lucerne-based company for digital services, and will jointly develop innovative digital communication services (press release from 9 September 2020).

For this reason, the current “E-Post Office” application is being discontinued, as is the “Subscription with scanning” service.

 

What happens now with E-Post Office?

From 1 August 2021 onwards, you will no longer be able to access E-Post Office. From this date onwards, you will be able to download any archived digital mail with a click of a button, which you can then save to your device. You will be able to download your mail items in your personal E-Post area by going to Settings > Data Export (Swiss Post Customer Login required).

Your current contract will be cancelled as of 30 June 2021. In accordance with the relevant notice periods and our GTCs, all data will be permanently and automatically deleted as of  1 August 2021. On request, you will be able to continue to access your “@epost.ch” e-mail address (see instructions below).

Any mail that was previously sent to you digitally will now be delivered physically to your postal address by Swiss Post. You do not need to do anything. 

 

How can you carry on using your @epost.ch e-mail account and your e-mails?

Please note that you must explicitly consent to e-mail use under Settings > E-mail. Otherwise, your e-mail service will be disabled as of 1 August 2021.

I use the “Subscription with scanning” service. What do I need to do?

The procedure for the “Subscription with scanning” service depends on the type of subscription you have.

Monthly subscription: As of 1 June 2021, your monthly subscription will no longer be extended automatically, and your mail will once again be delivered physically to your home address when your subscription expires.

Annual subscription: You will no longer have access as of 1 July 2021. For subscriptions with an expiry date after 1 July 2021, the remaining subscription fee will be paid back to you. Please complete this form by 31 August 2021. From 1 July 2021, the mail will again be delivered physically to your postal address by Swiss Post.

We are pleased to be able to offer you the new digital letter box ePost with an extensive range of interactive services, such as the “digital personal assistant”, from 1 July 2021. The innovative solution will pave the way for a new era of communication in Switzerland.
