Operation via mobile phone

As part of an “early” project to expand the existing My Post 24 network, we are currently testing new terminals that can be operated using a mobile phone. This type of terminal is suitable for the visually impaired or blind people in particular.
The two first terminals of this kind can be found in Biberist and in Bern Gäbelbach. Currently, it is possible to receive directly addressed items (PDF, 410.2 KB) and to send pre-franked parcels (GAS) which already have a shipping label. The range of services will be continuously developed.
Here’s how it works: receipt of an addressed item
- Go to the terminal with your mobile phone
- In the e-mail you received, click on “Collection code”
- Scan the QR code on the terminal
- Follow the instructions and you’re done!

Who is this service for and preconditions
The My Post 24 service is exclusively available to private individuals with their place of residence in Switzerland.
To use My Post 24, please complete one-off registration free of charge in the Customer Center. Following this, you will receive a letter by post within three days with the confirmation code for your address.
After you have signed up, an e-mail will be sent to you with your personal user ID. You will need this ID to use a My Post 24 terminal as a recipient address.
If you have already registered, add the “PickPost and My Post 24” option in the Customer Center under “Settings” and check whether your address has already been confirmed (Customer Center, under User profile -> Address). If your address has not been confirmed, please request a confirmation code.
My Post 24 is active once you have received the confirmation by e-mail.
To use My Post 24, you require a mobile phone that supports MMS, with a telephone number registered in Switzerland.
You can find your personal User ID in the Customer Center settings. If you wish, you can also set your own User ID there.

In order for your consignment to be delivered to your chosen My Post 24 terminal, the address must be saved as follows:
Address fields | Address details | Example with Steven Sample My Post 24 User ID |

Additional address information | Keyword and User ID | MyPost24 “Your User ID” 1 |

- Customs duties
- Cost of goods
- Forwarding to parcel terminals
- Possible fees
- Cash on delivery amount (if the “electronic cash on delivery” value-added service is used)
If a consignment is already on the way to your home, you will receive a notification on the online service “My consignments”. You then have the opportunity to redirect the parcel to a My Post 24 terminal.
Or have you already found a collection note in your letter box? Even then, you can still have your consignment redirected.
You can also redirect consignments using “Collection note” in the free Post-App.
Consignments that are addressed to a My Post 24 terminal, but which cannot be delivered there, need to be collected at the nearest Swiss Post branch.
Returns with a return label can simply be scanned at the terminal and placed in the corresponding compartment. If the online retailer requires reimbursement for the return, you can pay the amount electronically at the terminal.
