“Second attempted delivery on following Saturday” delivery instruction
Repeat delivery if the first delivery is unsuccessful
Who is the service for? Preconditions
The “Second attempted delivery on the following Saturday delivery instruction” value-added service is offered to business customers who have a billing relationship with Swiss Post, and is based on a contract.
The value-added service can be used in combination with the following basic domestic services.
Here’s how it works
You issue the delivery instructions when posting your consignment. This ensures that a second attempted delivery is made on the following Saturday if the first delivery attempt is unsuccessful and the collection period is missed. If the second attempted delivery is also unsuccessful, the recipient receives one more notification. The recipient can then still collect the consignment from the branch within seven days.
