Have you sent a parcel and later realize that it shouldn’t be delivered in this way? That’s not a problem – you can use our “Change shipping order” value-added service. This allows you to speed up parcels or stop them before delivery. You can have parcels that have been stopped returned or redirect them to another address.

The “Change shipping order” value-added service is aimed exclusively at business customers who have a billing relationship with Swiss Post.

The advantages for you

  • Stay in control for longer: you can adjust parcel delivery even after you have posted a parcel – until shortly before delivery to the recipient.
  • Less hassle: parcels that are not meant to be delivered generate high additional costs. You can prevent this by redirecting or returning the parcel.
  • Simple order placement: you can easily enter the order online 24 hours a day in “Track consignments Business”.
  • Full control: you keep track of your orders.
  • No additional costs without service: if we cannot implement your change request, you pay nothing.

Return or redirect mail

As long as the parcel is in the delivery process, we can stop the parcel and return it to you or deliver it to another address. You can enter the order easily online.

Use cases

  • Suspicion of fraud: e.g. use of falsified identities, payment default, failed transactions
  • Shipping error: incorrect consignment contents or quantities
  • Duplicate order: orderer orders the same item twice
  • Incorrect delivery address: incomplete or incorrect address details
  • Short-term cancellation: the recipient’s wish to avoid delivery
  • Perishable goods: non-punctual arrival and return to sender
  • Quality defect: defects in products ordered

Acceleration of consignments

As long as the parcel is in the sorting process, we can change the delivery day and time. We will also check with you personally whether an adjustment is possible. To speed up the process, please get in touch with your point of contact or Swiss Post Sales.

Use cases

  • A time-critical parcel was posted at the wrong speed.
  • The consignment has been delayed in the postal channel.

Price

  • Return or redirect parcels (orders entered online): CHF 19.50 (excl. VAT)
  • Return or redirect parcels (orders not entered online): CHF 23.50 (excl. VAT)
  • Accelerate parcels: CHF 23.50 (excl. VAT)

Please note

  • Return: The prices do not include the agreed return shipping costs
  • Redirect: The prices exclude a forwarding fee of CHF 8. This fee is charged directly to the new recipient address.
  • Accelerate: The prices exclude any surcharge depending on the product selected.
  • For monthly order volumes of 100 or more, please contact Sales for an individual price agreement.
  • We will carry out every order with the utmost care. However, this is not possible in all cases. For this reason, we will of course only charge the agreed price if the order has been successfully executed.

Here’s how it works

Create an order:

  • Open the “Track consignments Business” online service
  • Search for consignment
  • Enter order

For manual orders and faster processing, please get in touch with your Swiss Post point of contact.

Find order:

  • In “Track consignments Business”, you can find your orders in the overview of orders. There you will find the current status and can still cancel orders with the status “Created”.
  • Created: the order has been received.
  • Started: stopping the consignment worked.
  • Completed: the order has been successfully executed and invoiced.
  • Cancelled: the order has been cancelled.
  • Failed: the order could not be carried out. It was terminated without billing.
